Members of our Garden Committee had the unique opportunity to collect seeds from The Field Museum’s native gardens. With an invite and guidance of one of their conservation ecologists we had a great presentation on seeds, and toured their gardens collecting seeds for both their and our own use. Their seeds will be grown out in greenhouses and we hope to propagate and share ours as well!

Members of our Garden Committee had a really inspiring trip to Lake Katherine in July. We toured their grounds which contain a wild array of plants, different types of beds/plantings, insect habitats, and great garden decorations! We also did a short jaunt on the Cal Sag Trail which is a wonderful and accessible trail in our area. We have already started incorporating what we saw from this trip in
